Dr. Suchetana is an extremely skilled gynaecologist & obstetrician with over 24 years of experience in the field of reproductive medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has been associated with Care IVF for the past 10 years and she is one of the most sought after gynaecologist in the team. She has specialized in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK. She spent a decade in UK, during which time she was affiliated with a number of reputed hospitals and medical institutions all over the United Kingdom where she also trained in Assisted Reproduction. She returned to India in 2010 and has been practicing as an IVF specialist, Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic surgeon since then. She has written in several national and International journals and has many publications on various gynaecological problems to her credit. Since her basic background training is in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and she enjoyed the nuances of Obstetrics Practice immensely. She feels it, a blessing to be able to bring smiles to so many families. Assisting a mother in giving birth to a new life is one of the most significant moment in one's life and the ability to perform it with competence is vital and challenging. When you are involved from inception it's even more rewarding. Her daily routine involves mainly clinical work and consultation for her patients, ascertaining the investigations required and taking care of procedures like Intrauterine Insemination, Embryo transfer and so on and so forth. As an Infertility Consultant she cherishes the emotional journey of being involved with patients who are finding it difficult to conceive, holding their hands and directing them in the right path to that they can fulfill their dream of parenthood. It builds trust between the doctor and the patient.

Regarding Infertility Managements she feels:
  • Clinical Care of the patient and effective communication with a lot of compassion is a vital aspect.
  • Identifying the problem through necessary workups and chalking out the best plan of treatment, and then communicating it to the patients and counselling them regarding procedure needed and also giving them the possible success rates is crucial.
  • Keeping patients in the loop and being transparent helps in building the trust.
  • Following the right protocol for ovulation induction and on serial scanning determining the right time for egg pickup and subsequent transfer of good embryos is propitious for a successful outcome.
  • Dealing critical areas like Pain, social issues, feeling inadequate, financial restraints with sensitivity. "Hold on to your dreams, never let go. Nothing is impossible and once your dream comes true all the pain will just disappear as if it never existed."
